This week, at long last, I finally got my WoW dragon for completing all of the holiday events. For those of you that don't play WoW, the holiday events are basically a bunch of tedious, somewhat frustrating, but mostly just tedious tasks. But what distinguishes them from the rest of WoW is that you have a limited time to do each one around holidays like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, etc. And if you do every holiday event, you get a purple dragon for your little toon to ride, which is special because it is extra fast. Far faster then the other dragons you can get by merely spending your pretend money. The only other ways to get dragons this fast involve having actual skills at the game, so this is pretty much the only way for me to ride in style. While I was out and about, I also found this pink chicken thing, which I tamed and made my pet. For those of you that don't play WoW, getting a purple dragon and a pink chicken on the same day is how you beat the game.
Something that has been on my to do list for a long time is to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender. I got nearly all the way through with Book 1 this week, and it is really, really good. So the vote incentive this week is Momo, the cute lemur from the show.

I was checking some of my old bookmarks this week when I happened upon the blog of an artist that I hadn't checking in a while. Turns out they have a new webcomic(does everyone have a webcomic these days?). It is an all ages comic with a cute story and some great art. Even though the audience is kids, I still enjoyed reading it very much. You can check it out here: My Sister, the Freak. I don't know about you, but I enjoy getting started with comics before the buffer gets overwhelming, and this one is just finished the first chapter.
The vote incentive this week is another sketch I did for the children's book illustration class that I took, this time of princess riding her horse.
